Sorry for the…eh 2 1/2 hour lateness; I’m sick again. It’s been the absolute worst cold season I’ve had in over a decade, I think. Too much stress and my immune system finally gave out and told me I was on my own.

Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed the chapter, and the story so far! Before I got sick I’d started work on the rest of the volume, and as soon as I’m not dripping goo everywhere, I’ll be back at it. When there’s an official start date for Chapter 4, it’ll be all over there, and an official post will be posted here. AE hits triple digits with the end of question time with Vera! 100, can you believe it? My brain boggles about it, swaying from “it’s no big deal” to “be proud of all the time you put into this, dammit.” I would prefer to go with the latter. This is also a version of a scene that I’ve had for years and feels very satisfying to get to.

I can’t tell you how long I’ve been waiting to get to this part in the story where characters meet, talk, hurl insults at each other. It’s very exciting. Jase totally would have gone for the hug if Vera’d been interested. Something tells me she’s not much of a hugger, though.

This page took waaay too long to make, a combination of difficulty and life just kicking my ass. That said, I think it turned out pretty good. Characters are finally coming together, meeting, throwing water on jerks, it’s great. I’ve been waiting for this part for years.

This was another one of those lengthy, complicated pages, but I’m happy with the result! Sorry, for the lateness, btw, I got hit with a monster cold last week that I’m still fighting off. I’m not all the way there yet, but hopefully it won’t cause any hiccups in our update schedule if I’m able to get back to it this week.

We’ll see how “not that bad” it’ll be next time.
