The happy ending we were all rooting for: Old Man Martinson and his boats. Finally!
Come back next week for the final page of the chapter/volume!
And if you need some art, I’ve restocked my Etsy store. Check it out!
]]>There goes the Mother’s Kiss, and Mason Manor with it. But the important thing is that most of them survived.
Next week will be the beginning of the epilogue, and then that’ll be it for the chapter and this first arc! See you then.
]]>Every once in a while you need a montage to fight a people-eating plant, y’know?
We’re really getting toward the end now, see you next week.
]]>I don’t think the plant is really liking the “Being Lit On Fire” plan.
Personally, my favorite panels here are Mariel and Jase’s magic tag-team, complete with sound effects.
Oh, Happy Vernal Equinox everyone! See you next week.
]]>You gotta go after Jase, the guy was already tenderized by the plant.
See you next week when we find out if he becomes a munchy crunchy snack.
]]>At last, Jase is reunited with his very best friend. Martinson would love to be reunited with his best friends (his boats) but they’s all pretty much been smashed to bitty pieces.
60 pages! That means there’s only 10 left in this story and chapter. I do believe that counts as the homestretch! It’s all very exciting.
See you next week!
]]>Oh god, guys no, don’t split up the party! It’s like they’ve never played D&D or watched a horror movie.
I ended up having to make the fire twice, but I like the drawn version I ended up with better than the earlier version.
See you next week!
]]>And now for plants! Plants everywhere! Attacking from walls! Maybe ceilings! With exclamation points!
Next week we’ll see the gang vs. vine, and it’ll be cooool. See you then!
]]>If you ask me, that piece of plaster had it out for Jase.
And we’re back to one of my greatest enemies: stairs. If it isn’t boats, it’s stairs.
I promise next week will involve more than climbing stairs and hallway sneaking. See you then!
]]>It’s always hilarious when you just throw out a ridiculous idea as a sarcastic joke, but then the group runs with it. Jase handles it a lot better than I do; I just end up making the unimpressed face.
Next week a new scene starts and we enter the final showdown! It’s gonna be exciting.
And hey, if you’ve been enjoying the comic and want to tell friends, I’ve got a handy post about what AE is: here. Sure helps me when explaining it to people! And, as always, I’m open for commissions. Check out this post for all the details.
That’s it for this week. Got my nose to the grindstone in finishing this chapter, and I’m getting really close to the finish line now! See you all again, same Bat-time, same Bat-channel.
