Verorme Marketplace
Aw pawn shop guy who kinda looks like Steve Buscemi, don’t throw your own stock at people. What if that vase is an antique?!
Anyway, this is Verorme Marketplace. It’s a several block long outdoor/indoor mall and market area. Vehicles are not allowed, hence the somewhat decorative stone streets, and you can find a wide range of businesses here. However, if you go around like Nolen, you may not find what you’re looking for.
ValCon is this Saturday (July 22nd), at the Valley Cottage Library, 10am-4pm! We’ll be there, with Vol. 1 books, prints, buttons, a new sketchcard series, and our first enamel pin. And I’ll be doing a panel, From Writing to the Web: Making Webcomics, in the Community Room from 11:30-12:15. I’ll be talking about how I make pages (probably with steps dedicated to the time I spend talking to my cat), using an upcoming page that hasn’t been seen anywhere yet! So come on by and check out all the cool stuff ValCon will have. 😀
For the Patreon crowd: next week’s page, inked, and panels in progress. Updates are daily, and more coming as soon as I figure out how to make a really good .pdf.
Also, in my last bit of shameless self-promotion: my Storenvy is now open. My latest sketchcard series is up there (most of them), so check it out! We’ll be adding pins after ValCon, and more stuff later. There. Phew.
See you next week!
